“I sometimes wish time would stand still and allow me to hold on to the things I cherish, but it’s impossible isnt it? Life’s just not designed that way. I suppose Im sounding dreadfully morbid, but this catastrophe has made me realize even more that the only stability we have in life is God. He is eternally the same and never changes. Ive exhausted all my options; I feel as if Ive come to the end of the road. It seems there is only one path let open to me and that is to throw myself on God’s mercy and beg for compassion for myself and my child. I know I must place my trust and faith in Him and believe that in His wisdom He knows what He is doing and takes comfort in His words that all things work together for the good.”
